Position of fuel level sending unit cover is correct when arrow -1- on cover is aligned with arrow -2- on fuel tank.

Note:

Black arrow references forward position of the vehicle.

Reinstall locking ring using the 3087 wrench and tighten to 120 Nm (89 ft lbs.).

Reconnect 4-pin harness connector.

Reinstall fuel supply and return lines using (2) new clamps (N 101 969 01) using the YA 3080 crimping tool or equivalent.

Proceed to Section D

Section D - Installation of Fuel Sending  Unit (Loc. -G169-)

Carefully disengage 2-pin harness connector -1- and disconnect connector.
