Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
Rear Suspension

Wheel bearing/wheel hub, removing and installing

Removing
-

Remove wheel.

-

Remove securing bolts -arrows- from brake caliper housing while counter holding on guide pins.

-

Take off brake caliper housing and secure with wire so that the weight of the brake caliper does not stress or damage the brake hose.

-

Remove brake pads.

-

Take off disc brake.

-

Unscrew bolts -arrows- for wheel bearing/wheel hub unit.

-

Remove wheel bearing/wheel hub unit.

Installing
Install in reverse order.
-

Install wheel and tighten.
Tightening torques:
Wheel bearing to rear axle - 60 Nm

The wheel bearing and wheel hub are installed together in a housing.
This wheel bearing/hub unit is maintenance and adjustment free. Adjusting and servicing is not possible!
