Replace Throttle Position sensor G79

If specifications obtained:
-

Connect VAG 1598/22 Test Box to ECM harness connector.

Check wiring between test box and connector for open circuit according to Wiring diagram.

Terminal 1 + socket 24
Terminal 2 + socket 11
Terminal 3 + socket 23
Terminal 4 + socket 12
Terminal 5 + socket 8
Terminal 6 + socket 25

Wire resistance: 1.5 Ohms maximum

Check wires for short to one another, to vehicle Ground and to battery Plus.

Specification: Infinity Ohms

If wiring OK:
-

Replace Engine Control Module J248

-
