Fuel Rail, Assembly Overview
CAUTION: Follow safety measures for releasing fuel pressure in high pressure area
NOTE: Components marked with * are tested via On Board Diagnostic (OBD), Diagnostic mode 3: Check DTC memory.

Fuel rail and intake manifold, disconnecting.

Before loosening fuel line, place a rag around the connection point. Then release pressure by carefully loosening.

Do not install when under tension

Tighten union nut on pressure relief valve (item 5) to 20 Nm.

Fuel pressure in high pressure line can be up to 120 bar. Wear protective goggles and protective clothing to prevent injuries and contact
with skin.

Before loosening the fuel line, place a rag around the connection point. Then release pressure by carefully loosening.

Do not install when under tension

Tighten union nuts on fuel rail and on high pressure pump to 25 Nm.
