Install the right drive axle.

Install the drives axle heat shield and bolts - arrows -, if necessary.

Check the transmission fluid. Refer to => [ Transmission Fluid, Checking ] See: Fluid - M/T/Service and Repair.

Install the noise insulation.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pulling Hook (T20143/1)

‹› Thrust Piece (T40008)

‹› Sealing Grease (G 052 128 A1)

Removing

‹› Remove the transmission.

-

Remove the slave cylinder with release bearing. Refer to => [ Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing ] See: Clutch/Clutch Release Bearing/Service
and Repair/Slave Cylinder With Release Bearing.

-

Pry out the input shaft seal using the (T20143/1).
