Using the two body studs as a reference, mark, remove and discard a 60mm x 90mm piece of sound deadener in location shown.
^
Reglue remaining deadener to carpet.
^
Remove 2 body studs -arrows-.
^
Reinstall carpet.
^
Loosen CPP switch bracket.
^
Firmly press clutch pedal to floor.
^
Adjust microswitch bracket until distance between shoulder of switch and clutch pedal tab is 2mm to 3mm (metal plunger -arrow- is exposed 2mm to
3mm) and tighten bracket.
^
Depress clutch pedal 2 to 3 times and ensure adjustment of switch is maintained and switch is not broken.
