Brake caliper

Outer wheel bearing

Adjusting wheel bearing play. Refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.

Secure with locking ring and a new cotter pin

Tighten to 110 Nm (81 ft lb)

FWD models: 226 mm
AWD models: 239 mm

Thickness, all models 10 mm (0.394 inch)

Wear limit 8 mm (0.315 inch)

When worn always replace discs on both sides

To drive off, insert drift through wheel bolt holes

Drive on with suitable sleeve

Removal 

NOTE:  If the brake pads are to be reused, mark their installed positions before removal. Install in their original positions to avoid uneven braking.

1. Remove wheels.

2. Disconnect parking brake cable from brake caliper.

3. Remove brake caliper housing.
