Guide Pin Removal

3. Remove both guide pins from brake caliper.
4. Remove brake caliper housing and lay to one side so that weight of brake caliper does not stress or damage brake hose.
5. Disconnect brake line, cap and plug lines and fittings.
6. Take brake pads out of brake caliper housing and from brake carrier.

Installation

NOTE:

Before installing new brake pads, remove some brake fluid from the reservoir with a bleeder bottle. If reservoir has been topped up, fluid may
overflow and cause damage.

After replacing the brake pads, depress brake pedal firmly several times with the vehicle stationary so that the brake pads are properly seated in
their normal operating position.

Pressing Piston Back

1. Ensure piston is fully pressed back and caliper is thoroughly clean.
2. Connect brake fluid lines.

Inner Brake Pads

3. Install inner brake pad (inserting retaining spring into brake caliper piston).

NOTE: Refer to rotation direction.

(1) Right side caliper, piston side pad.
(2) Left side caliper, piston side pad.
