Radiator: Description and Operation

Coolant anti-freeze, Part G11 prevents frost and corrosion damage, lime deposits, and also raises the boiling temperature. For these reasons, the cooling
system must be filled the entire year with anti-freeze and corrosion protection agent.

The concentration of the coolant must not be reduced by adding water, even during the warm season or in warmer climates. The coolant anti-freeze
percentage must be at least 40%.

Because of its high boiling point, the coolant contributes to safe operation at high engine load, especially in warmer climates.
