Right Rear Door Control Module (J389), Output Diagnostic Test Mode

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS5051B)

‹› The following system/component checks depend on vehicle equipment level and market version.

The following components and functions can be checked via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) of door control module:

‹› Actuation of right rear switch illumination

‹› Activation of right rear window regulator (driving down)

‹› Activation of right rear window regulator (driving up)

Connect the (VAS5051B).

On the (VAS5051B), select "Guided Fault Finding".

Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

‹› Right rear door electronics
