Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair
Sender for rotation rate -G202- removing and installing
On vehicles with a single sender for rotation rate -G202, the control module cannot be coded.
The sender for rotation rate is located under the floor carpet in front left footwell.
Removing:

Remove left-front seat.

Remove A pillar trim in front left footwell.

Pull off left sill panel trim.
^
Pull left-front floor carpet back until the sender for rotation rate in its protective polystyrene packing can be accessed.

Remove protective polystyrene packaging.
^
Pull connector off sender for rotation rate.
^
Remove the three securing nuts.
Installing:
CAUTION: Severe shakes/jolts can destroy the sender for rotation rate.

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence
When installing make sure the sender for rotation rate is correctly seated in its bracket and is free of stress.
Do not use the securing nuts to forcibly position the sender for rotation rate.

Tighten securing nuts to 5 Nm.
