Removing and Installing

Axle Beam, removing and installing 

Removing 
-

Remove wheels.

-

Unbolt exhaust connection behind catalyst and remove rear part of exhaust system.

-

Secure driveshaft with wire (arrows) or similar, or constant velocity joint can be damaged.

CAUTION:  Before removing the driveshaft, mark the installed position. Excessive imbalance could result if the driveshaft is re-installed offset
from the original position.

Determine distance between axle beam and sill inner side.

-

Unhook parking brake cable from brake calipers.
