Fluid Line/Hose: Service and Repair
Cleaning

ATF lines and ATF cooler, cleaning 

If there is dirt in the ATF, blow compressed air through the ATF cooler and ATF lines (not more than 10 bar or 145 psi.) before installing
transmission.

WARNING:  Wear protective glasses.

-

Release bracket for rigid ATF lines on transmission.

-

Remove bolt -2-.

-

Remove ATF lines from transmission.

-

Connect hose to ATF line -A- and secure with hose clamp. Hang other end of hose in suitable container.

-

Blow compressed air through ATF line -B-.

-

Change hose from ATF line -A- over to ATF line -B- and repeat sequence.

-

Secure ATF lines again.

-

Check and top off ATF level.
