Front Seat Cover and Upholstery

Front Seat Cushion

Removal and installation of left front seat padding is described. Removal and installation of right front seat padding is the same.

CAUTION!
If the upholstery, front seat cushion on front passenger side is replaced, Front Passenger Seat Occupied Sensor (G128) also must always
be replaced. Refer to => [ Front Passenger Seat Occupant Sensor G128 ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and

Removal

-

Mount the (VAS 6136) on the (VAS 6095).

-

Remove front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Attach the seat to the (VAS 6136).

Remove the front seat belt latch. Refer to => [ Front Seat Belt Latches ] See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt Systems/Seat Belt/Service and Repair

Remove seat cap. Refer to => [ Cover Cap ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Electric seat

-

Remove electric seat front end trim. Refer to => [ Power Seat Front Side Trim ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Remove electric seat trim. Refer to => [ Power Seat Trim ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Remove electric seat trim bracket. Refer to => [ Power Seat Trim Bracket ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Partially electric seat

-

Remove partially electric seat trim. Refer to => [ Partial Power Seat Trim ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Remove bracket and actuating lever, trim of partially electric/height adjustable seat. Refer to => [ Power Height-Adjustable Seat Trim Bracket and
Operating Lever ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Height-adjustable seat

Remove height-adjustable seat trim. Refer to => [ Height-Adjustable Seat Trim ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats

Remove bracket and actuating lever, trim of partially electric/height adjustable seat. Refer to => [ Power Height-Adjustable Seat Trim Bracket and

Passenger Seat with Pass-Through

Remove the front seat trim. Refer to => [ Passenger Seat Trim with Pass-Through ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front

Remove bracket and actuating lever, trim of partially electric/height adjustable seat. Refer to => [ Power Height-Adjustable Seat Trim Bracket and

Seat without height adjustment
