Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
Door Motors (Climatronic System)

Central Air Door Motor or Front Air Distribution Door Motor

Door Motors

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B) or newer model.

Perform following work first:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch off ignition.

-

Remove ignition key.

Central Air Door Motor or Front Air Distribution Door Motor

Removing

-

Remove the instrument panel.

-

Disconnect the connector on the control motor.

-

Remove the screw - 1 - and remove the control motor. 

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

‹› Check the function of the door after installing central air door motor (V70) or the front air distribution door motor (V426).

‹› Initiate "Basic Setting" function with Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model). Refer to => [
