Shift Knob, Boot and Noise Insulation

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamp Pliers (V.A.G 1275)

‹› Special Hook (3370)

Removing

-

Open the ashtray.

-

Remove the boot with plastic frame from the center console frame - 1 - - arrow -.

-

Hold the center console frame securely - 1 -.

It must not be removed.

Connectors for various switched could be loosened unintentionally. 

-

Roll the boot up over the shift knob.

-

Open the clamp - arrow - and remove the shift knob and boot.

-

Remove the noise insulation.
