Connect connector.

-

Insert flap motor-1- into guide -arrow B-.

Position air flow flap and recirculated air flap levers -2 and 3- by hand according to position of flap motor.

Insert flap levers -2- and -3- into drive cam guides.

Plastic lever, position -2-

Metal lever, position -3-

Initiate Basic setting, Function 04, with VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST); Climatronic On Board Diagnostic (OBD).

Temperature regulator flap motor -V68-, removing and installing

The temperature flap lever and operating rod are color coded "Red".

Removing

-

Remove instrument panel

-

Remove dust and pollen filter.

-

Loosen instrument panel cross member.

For the next steps, an assistant must lift and hold the heater/evaporator unit.

Remove footwell air outlet.

-

Remove air flow flap motor.
