Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 00317 05 Is Stored In Convenience Control Module DTC Memory

Condition

DTC 00317 05 "J605 Incorrect Adaptation, wrong or missing basic setting" is stored in the Convenience control module memory. This DTC affects
adaptation of the servo trunk lid.

Due to a Guided Fault Finding (GFF) software issue, Comfort control modules do not communicate during GFF Vehicle system Test.

Service

Until software issue is resolved (with new Basis-CD V6.20) diagnose Comfort control modules, using Self Diagnosis to check DTC memory of this
system. Proceed as follows:

Connect VAS 5051/5052 Diagnostic tool.

Switch ignition ON.

From Start-up screen, select "Vehicle Self-Diagnosis".

Select vehicle system "46-Convenience system central module".

Note:

Use scroll bar on right to display appropriate system.

From module identification screen, select forward arrow --> on navigation bar.
