Notes:

  • ◆ The fault table is listed according to the 5 digit fault code on the left.
  • ◆ Explanation of the fault types (e.g. "open circuit/short circuit to earth"):

=> Fault reader operating instructions

  • ◆ Before renewing components indicated as being faulty, check the wiring and connectors to these components as well as the earth connections using current flow diagram. This is particularly relevant if faults are output as "occurring sporadically" (SP).
  • ◆ The faults displayed can be localised using the test table.

Implausible signal

- Wiring or connections defective
- The ultra-sonic signal sequence is, at present, untypical for an ultra-sonic measurement (e.g. constant, or the signal is overall too high or too low)
- Anti-theft alarm ultra-sonic sensor -G209 defective

- Check wiring and connectors using current flow diagram
Renew anti-theft alarm ultra-sonic sensor -G209

Alarm via sensor for ATA

This fault entry is an indication for the workshop, then an alarm has been triggered. Using measured value block 15 and the convenience system table it is possible to locate the area which triggered the system.
In addition the warning lamp in the deactivation button will flash for 1 minute.
