Adjusting door
To ensure a correct door adjustment the door hinges on the pillar must be loosened. Other measures such as raising the door upwards have no effect. Overpressuring thereafter will again cause the door to sack.
Use adjustment wrench 3320 combined with Torx bit T 45 to loosen securing bolts on door hinge, A-pillar.
Adjusting
-
● The doors are correctly adjusted if the clearance to the door opening when closed is even all round, does not project too much to the inside or outside and the contours align.

Tightening torque: 36 Nm.
Note:
When using the special tool the tightening torque is to be reduced by 2 Nm to 34 Nm.

The paint structure must be restored and, if necessary, anti-corrosion measures must be carried out.
