Removing

• ‒ Fit key in door handle lock cylinder.
• ‒ Remove torx screw -3-.
• ‒ Push door handle forwards, turn key through 45°to right (door handle coupling plate -2- releases door lock operating lever -1-) and swing door handle out of door.

Fitting instructions:

Follower -5- for paddle -4- must be in vertical position before inserting door handle.

Installing

• ‒ → Check clip -1- for damage and renew if necessary.
• ‒ Pivot in door handle (turn door key 45° to right when doing this) so that the door handle slides past the door panel without an air gap -arrow-.
• ‒ Screw in Torx screw -2-.
       Tightening torque: 8 Nm.

Left-hand lock - right-hand thread
Right-hand lock - left-hand thread

• ‒ → Loosen tolerance screw -1- on door lock.
• ‒ Press in door handle.
• ‒ Tighten tolerance screw (Torx T 20)
       Tightening torque = 3 Nm.

Do not move tolerance screw sideways when tightening (e.g. by supporting the key on edge of hole). The door handle must be pushed onto door outer panel.

Tightening the tolerance screw also takes care of the adjustment.

Perform functional check afterwards.
