N57-0075
  • ‒ Remove window lifter .
  • ‒ → Remove Qty. 3 cross-head screws -1- from the window lifter/lifter motor joint.
  • ‒ Remove spacer sleeves -2-.
 
N57-0076
  • ‒ → Turn window lifter around and remove cross-head screws -1- (Qty. 5).
  • ‒ Open hinge -3- and take connector -2- out of mounting.
  • ‒ Pull the cable drum -4-, by hand, off the gear housing by tilting slightly in alternate directions.
 
N57-0077
  • ‒ → Pull drive gear -1- off gear shaft in direction of arrow. Pay attention to spacer washer -2-.

Note:

The damper element -3- must fit exactly in the cable drum recesses.

 
N57-0078
  • ‒ → Insert drive gear -2- into cable drum, fit spacer washer -1- onto drive gear.
  • ‒ Pull fitting cover off new motor.

Note:

Surfaces/parts coated with grease must not come into contact with dust or dirt. Regreasing only with original grease G 000 450 02.

 
N57-0079
  • ‒ → Check that the cable is correctly positioned on the cable drum.
  • ‒ Join cable drum and electric motor together.
 
N57-0080
  • ‒ If it is not possible to join together the gear housing and the cable drum as far as the stop, alter the position/attitude of the drive gear by moving the motor slightly so that the drive gear engages.
  • ‒ → Screw in securing screws and tighten in the specified order (3 Nm).
 
N57-0076
  • ‒ → Press connector -2- into housing and close hinge -3-.

Note:

Perform functional check before installing.

Replacement of the mechanical part (linkage/cable) is performed in the same manner.
