Removing

• ‒ → Remove Torx screw -2-.
• ‒ Slide door handle -1- forwards, swing out downwards and remove from door.
• ‒ Check clip -3- for damage and renew if necessary.

Installing:

• ‒ Loosen door lock tolerance screws before installing the door handle.
• ‒ → Insert door handle in door and slide forwards -arrow A- and swing into door -arrow B-.

• ‒ → Again push door handle forwards, press onto door outer panel and slide fully to rear.
• ‒ Screw in Torx screw.
       Tightening torque: 8 Nm.

Proceed as follows if the door handle jams:

• ‒ → Loosen door lock tolerance screw -arrow-.

Left-hand lock - right-hand thread
Right-hand lock - left-hand thread

Tighten tolerance screw (Torx T 20)
     Tightening torque = 3 Nm.

Do not move tolerance screw sideways when tightening (e.g. by supporting the key on edge of hole). The door handle must be pushed onto door outer panel.

Tightening the tolerance screw also takes care of the adjustment.
