Removing and installing folding roof with cover and trim panel
 
N60-0016
  • ‒ → Open fabric folding roof approx. 100 mm and pull rearmost roof fold upwards -1-.
  • ‒ Remove hexagon nuts -arrow- from studs.
  • ‒ Pull fabric folding roof end -2- off rear clamping rail.
 
N60-0018
  • ‒ → Remove oval head bolts -arrows-, remove retaining plate -1- from connecting piece -2-. Pull connecting piece off fabric folding roof frame. This sequence must be carried out on both sides of fabric folding roof.
 
N60-0017
  • ‒ → Pull beading -1- in rear area off.
  • ‒ Pull fabric folding roof trim -2- out from rear clamping rail -3-.
 
N60-0019
  • ‒ → Press left and right-hand slide covers -1- off cable guide with a screwdriver and pull out from fabric folding roof end.
 
N60-0020
  • ‒ → Close fabric folding roof. In this position the cable guides -1- slide out from fabric folding roof slide -arrow-. If this is not so, then open or close the fabric folding roof a few millimetres.
  • ‒ Press fabric folding roof end upwards off cable guides.
 
N60-0022
  • ‒ → Pull fabric folding roof forwards until the retainer -1- is in area of guide rail cut-out -arrow-.
  • ‒ Pull fabric folding roof end with retainers -1- out from guide rails.
 
N60-0021
  • ‒ → Slide fabric folding roof to rear until the left and right-hand guides of the forward slide -1- are free (roll-up fabric folding roof to forward slides at same time as sliding back).
