Installing > < Removing and installing coil connector with slip ring 10.99 ?

Removing
l  Driver side airbag unit, steering wheel and lower steering column switch trim removed.
–  Disconnect single connector for horn and connector for coil connector with slip ring.
   
–  Unscrew Phillips screws -1- and pull coil connector with slip ring -2- off the steering wheel.
The following work sequence is valid only for vehicles with Electronic Stabilisation Programme -ESP-
Vehicles with ESP are additionally equipped with the steering angle sender -G85-. The sender is installed in together with the coil connector and slip ring in a housing.
–  Front wheels and steering wheel must be in straight-ahead position.
–  Position front wheels to straight-ahead position, if necessary, and remove steering wheel.

–  Position steering angle sender to centre position.
  Note
t  Yellow spot must be visible in hole -1-.
t  The markings must align.
–  Separate connector to steering angle sender -G85-.

–  Carefully lift up hooks -arrows- and pull off steering angle sender.
