–  If renewing noise insulation film, remove remaining adhesive on door -2-. To do this, first pull off a small section from the door and form a ball. Using this ball -1-, remove remaining adhesive from door. (Adhesive property of glue is stronger than bond with door.)
Replacement insulation film ► 02.95
–  Insert electrical wiring connections of door inner parts (window regulator, loudspeaker and mirror adjustment) and operating rod through film and pull off protective strip of adhesive material.
–  Align insulation film to apertures for assembly of fastening clips and press on.

–  Press insulation film -1- bonding area (hatched area) onto door all around with roller -3356-.
–  Particularly in lower area, check that insulation film is firmly adhered to door.

Replacement insulation film 03.95 ►
–  Using cartridge gun -V.A.G 1628-, apply adhesive sealant -D 469 101 A3- (adhesive bead Ø approx. 5 mm) to circumference of insulation film -1- (hatched area).
–  Insert electrical wiring connections of door inner parts (window regulator, loudspeaker and mirror adjustment) and operating rod through film.
–  Align insulation film to apertures for assembly of fastening clips and press on.

–  Press insulation film -1- bonding area (hatched area) onto door all around with roller -3356-.
–  Particularly in lower area, check that insulation film is firmly adhered to door.
