| First press brake pedal in direction of brake servo and hold. |

| Insert release tool -T10006 A- and pull towards driver's seat, at the same time holding brake pedal in position (the pedal must not move towards the rear). This will press the retaining lugs -3- of the mounting off the ball head of the push rod -2-. |
| In order to simplify the illustration, separating the brake pedal from the brake servo is shown with the pedal cluster removed. |

| Pull release tool -T10006 A- and brake pedal together towards driver's seat. (This will pull the brake pedal off the ball head of the push rod). |
