Installing
Before pressing piston back into cylinder with piston resetting tool, draw off brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir. Otherwise, particularly if reservoir has been topped up, fluid will overflow and cause damage.
   
–  Press pistons back with piston resetting appliance -T10145-.
  N46-0070
–  Fit pad retaining springs and inner brake pad on brake carrier.
  N46-0041
–  Install outer brake pad.
–  Only insert brake caliper until securing bolts can be positioned.
If brake caliper is pressed past this point, brake pad retaining springs may be deformed. This may cause noise on braking.
–  Install wheels.
  Note
t  After changing brake pads, firmly depress brake pedal several times with vehicle stationary, so that the brake pads are properly seated in their normal operating position.
t  After changing brake pads check brake fluid level.

Specified torques 
Allen head bolt on brake carrier25 Nm
