Removing and installing air conditioner compressor with bracket: engine code AMF and ATL

Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
  W00-0427
  Note
t  The air conditioner compressor bracket and related components can be removed and installed without the refrigerant circuit being opened.
t  To remove poly V-belt → Rep. Gr.13.
1 - Bracket for air conditioner compressor
t  Part No. 045 903 143 E
Removing
–  Move lock carrier to service position → Rep. Gr.50.
–  Remove alternator → Rep. Gr.27.
–  Remove air conditioner compressor from bracket and secure to body with suitable material (e.g. welding wire) → Chapter.
–  Unbolt bracket from cylinder block.
Installing
When installing, always note:
l  Renew securing bolts.
2 - Hexagonal combi bolt M10×45
q   45 Nm.
q   Qty. 6
3 - Refrigerant hoses
4 - Air conditioner compressor
Removing:
q   Remove hexagon bolts → Item.
q   Remove air conditioner compressor from bracket and secure to body with suitable material (e.g. welding wire) → Chapter.
5 - Hexagon bolt M8x100
q   25 Nm.
q   Qty. 3
6 - Poly V-belt
q   Removing and installing → Rep. Gr.13.
q   Poly V-belt routing → Chapter.
7 - Tensioner
8 - Hexagon bolt M8×50
q   25 Nm.
q   Qty. 3
