Evaluating test results

A workshop temperature of between 20° C to 30° C is assumed for the evaluation. The engine is at room temperature.

Rectifying fault

Duty cycle of 20% to 25%

High pressure sender -G65- is OK

Duty cycle 90%

High pressure sender -G65- defective

–	Renew high pressure sender -G65- → Chapter.

Duty cycle 5%

t	High pressure sender -G65- defective

–	Renew high pressure sender -G65- → Chapter.

t	Refrigerant circuit is empty

–	Charge with refrigerant.

Duty cycle 0%

Short circuit or open circuit in wiring or connectors

–	Check wiring and connections according to current flow diagram.

Note

If the cause of the customer complaint has not been found, check fault memory of engine electronics control unit.
