Removing fresh air blower V2 > < Passenger compartment heating
Before beginning repair work, perform the following steps:
Before beginning repair work, perform the following steps:
–  Switch off all electrical consumers.
–  Switch off ignition.
–  Pull out ignition key.
   
1 - Air duct
2 - Dust and pollen filter
q   In plenum chamber.
q   With active charcoal filter.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
3 - Controls for fresh and heated air
q   With fresh air blower switch -E9-.
q   With fresh air and air recirculation flap switch -E159-.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Dismantling and assembling → Chapter.
q   Installing and adjusting cables → Chapter.
4 - Dash panel
q   Removing and installing → Rep. Gr.70.
5 - Vent on front passenger side
q   Remove vent → Chapter.
6 - Fresh air and air recirculation flap control motor -V154-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
7 - Fresh air blower -V2-
q   Removing → Chapter.
8 - Fresh air blower series resistor with overheating fuse -N24-
q   Removing → Chapter.
9 - Central vents
q   Remove vent → Chapter.
10 - Heater unit
q   Removing → Chapter.
11 - Cables
q   Installing and adjusting → Chapter.
12 - Connecting piece
13 - Cover
14 - Footwell vent
q   Remove vent → Chapter.
15 - Footwell system
16 - Intermediate piece, defrost
q   To renew, remove and install dash panel → Rep. Gr.70.
17 - Heat exchanger
q   To renew, remove dash panel → Rep. Gr.70.
q   Installing → Chapter.
q   After renewal, completely renew coolant.
18 - Heat exchanger/bulkhead seal
q   Note installation position → Chapter.
19 - Vent on driver side
q   Remove vent → Chapter.
