Removing
–  Remove driver side footwell cover → Rep. Gr.68.
   
–  Unclip trim panel for controls -1-.
–  Remove trim or compartment -2-.
  Note
For clarity, the following figure shows centre vent removed.

–  Remove 3 bolts -arrows A-.
–  Footwell vent, upper part -1- push into lower part of footwell vent -2--arrow B-.
–  Pull out footwell vent to left.
