Reading fault memory 02

–	Select vehicle system → Chapter.

–	Press “02 Read fault memory”-arrow- on the display.

Note

The fault information displayed is updated not continuously but only upon initiating self-diagnosis or activating function 05 “Erase fault memory”.

The stored faults are shown on the display.

–	Press Print button in display and then “Screen” in print menu.

A list of faults can be found in the fault table → Chapter.

The printer of the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051A- prints the faults shown on the screen or “0 faults detected”. If faults are stored, repair measures are required. The fault log must be handed over for the repair.
