  • Air cleaner cover

Note:

If the cover screws are loosened or tightened with a power tool the lower part of the thread can be damaged. Therefore the use of a power tool is only permissible when:

  • ◆ The power tool speed is max. 200 rpm
  • ◆ The tightening torque is set to max. 3 Nm
  • Filter element
  • Air cleaner lower part
  • Seal
    • ◆ Renew if damaged

  • Crankcase breather hose
  • Connecting hose
  • Warm air intake
  • Air intake housing with regulating flap
    • ◆ Check intake air preheating => Page 24-83

→ Fig. 1     Resistance values for coolant temperature sender (G62)

Scale A shows resistance values for temperature range 0...50 °C and scale B the values for temperature range 50...100 °C.

Examples:

  • ◆ 30 °C corresponds to a resistance from 1500...2000 ω
  • ◆ 80 °C corresponds to a resistance from 275...375 ω

→ Fig.2     Resistance values for intake air temperature sender (G42)

Scale A shows resistance values for temperature range 0...50 °C and scale B the values for temperature range 50...100 °C.

Examples:

  • ◆ 20 °C corresponds to a resistance from 2340...2680 ω
  • ◆ 80 °C corresponds to a resistance from 290...330 ω
