• ◆ Renewing crankshaft oil seal - pulley end
• 25 Nm
• Sealing flange, front
• Gasket
• ◆ Renew

• Cylinder block
• ◆ Removing and installing crankshaft => Page 13-26
• ◆ Dismantling and assembling pistons and conrods
  => Page 13-31
• 60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90 °) further
• ◆ Renew
• ◆ The quarter turn further can be done in several stages.
• Flywheel
• ◆ To remove and install flywheel, counter-hold with retainer 3386
• ◆ Engine code AEF with twin-mass flywheel
• ◆ Engine codes AGD, AHG, AKU, ASX with single-mass flywheel
• 10 Nm

• Sealing flange with oil seal
• ◆ Only renew complete
• ◆ Do not additionally oil or grease the oil seal sealing lip
• ◆ Before installing, remove oil remains from crankshaft journal with a clean cloth
• ◆ Use protective sleeve supplied when installing
• ◆ Remove protective sleeve first after sealing flange has been slid onto crankshaft journal
• Intermediate shaft
• O-ring
• ◆ Renew if damaged
• Sealing flange intermediate shaft

• Oil seal
• ◆ To remove oil seal, remove sealing flange
• ◆ Install with fitting tool 10-203
• ◆ Lightly oil sealing lip
