Adjusting throttle cable
Work sequence

‒ Hook accelerator cable into accelerator pedal and cam disk on throttle valve control part.

‒ Pull off retaining clip for accelerator cable core wire.

‒ Depress accelerator pedal to full throttle position.
Vehicles with manual gearbox

‒ Adjust accelerator cable by moving the retainer at the support bracket, so that the full throttle position is attained at the throttle valve control part.
Vehicles with automatic gearbox

‒ Adjust accelerator cable by moving the retainer at the support bracket, so that the full throttle position is attained at the throttle valve control part and the kick-down switch clicks audibly.

‒ Release accelerator pedal or remove pedal depressor.

‒ Check idling speed and full throttle stops on throttle valve after adjusting.
