Installing > < Renewing camshaft oil seal

Removing
Removing
–  First remove toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Turn crankshaft back slightly.
–  Remove camshaft pulley. When loosening camshaft toothed belt pulley bolt, hold with counterhold tool -3036-.
–  Remove rear toothed belt guard.
–  Screw inner part of oil seal extractor -2085- two turns (approx. 3 mm) out of outer part and lock with knurled screw.
   
–  Oil threaded head of oil seal extractor and drive extractor into oil seal using light blows of a plastic head hammer. The knurled screw must lie to the left on the console as shown.
–  Screw extractor forcibly as far as possible into oil seal.
–  Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against camshaft until the oil seal is pulled out.
