Installing > < Removing and installing Duocentric oil pump

Removing
–  Removing toothed belt → Chapter
–  Turn crankshaft to TDC No. 1 cylinder.
–  The angled tooth of the toothed belt pulley must align with the 2V mark on the oil pump.
–  Turn crankshaft and toothed belt pulley three teeth anti-clockwise away from TDC.
   
–  Third tooth -arrow- to right of ground-down tooth -A- on toothed belt pulley must align with TDC mark on oil pump housing.
–  Undo securing bolt of crankshaft pulley. To do this, lock toothed belt pulley using counterhold tool -3099-.
  Note
This adjustment moves the crankshaft to the correct installation position for the oil pump. One of the follower polygon cams on the crankshaft is uppermost.
–  Remove the crankshaft toothed belt pulley and the belt tensioner. To do this, lock toothed belt pulley using counterhold tool -3099-.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
–  Remove suction pipe → Item.
–  Remove oil pump.
–  Remove gasket.
–  Remove sealant remnants on cylinder block with a flat scraper.
–  Clean sealing surfaces. They must be oil and grease free.
