The control unit increases idling speed under following conditions:
- When the battery voltage is too low
- After a long full throttle drive and at higher temperatures
-When air conditioner is switched on
Additionally for engine codes AER, ALL:
-When the heated rear window is switched on
-When the steering is at full lock (P.A.S. pressure switch switched on). In this case the normal idling speed is only attained when the engine has been restarted or the vehicle is driven faster than 15 km/h (approx. 9.4 mph).
