Welding and straightening on axle beam and stub axle is not permissible.

  • Bolt
    • 16V vehicles are fitted with bolts without a centralizing point.
    • Bolts with centralizing points are supplied as spare parts.
    • If such a bolt is fitted to a 16V vehicle, the point must point towards wheel.
    • If this is not observed the point on the bolt may contact the exhaust silencer when the suspension extends and contracts.
  • Shock absorber
  • 55 Nm
    • ◆ When tightening observe the installation angle from rear axle to damper =>Fig. 1
    • ◆ Renew each time after removing
  • Stub axle
    • ◆ Straightening operations are not permitted!
