Removing and installing dash panel insert
Removing and installing dash panel insert
  Note
t  To disconnect and reconnect the battery, the procedure described in the workshop manual should be strictly adhered to → Chapter.
t  When the battery is reconnected, check the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, window regulators) as per Workshop Manual and/or the Owner's Manual.
t  There is no need to remove the steering wheel. For ease of illustration the steering wheel is not shown in the following illustrations.
Removing:
–  Disconnect battery → Chapter.
   
–  Remove upper securing bolts -arrows-.
–  Then plastic trim can be pulled out backwards.

–  Remove the two securing bolts on left and right -arrows-.
–  Fold dash panel insert out backwards.
–  Disconnect multi-pin connector on back of dash panel insert.
–  Take out dash panel insert.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.
