| Only the main beam warning lamp has a bulb which can be individually replaced. The dash panel insert must be exchanged for all other faults. |

| If required the dash panel insert is to be exchanged using normal exchange part procedures. Complete damage report form and return together with dash panel insert. Use original packaging only when returning items. |

| The dash panel insert is controlled via a microprocessor which is equipped with an extensive self-diagnosis functionality. |
| If faults occur in the sensors and components being monitored, they will be stored in the fault memory together with an indication of the type of fault. |
| The self-diagnosis must be initiated at the start of fault finding and the stored information read. The fault information displayed is used in conjunction with a fault table which has information on the possible fault causes for pin-pointed repair measures → Chapter. |
