The following sequence is described for the fault reader -V.A.G 1551-, the sequence described in the chapter for the “vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system may also be used” → Chapter.
–  Connecting fault reader → Anchor.
–  Switch on ignition.

  1 - Rapid data transfer*

–  Press key 1 for “Rapid data transfer” mode.

Indicated on display:
–  Press key 5 twice. (Entering “55” selects the address word for “Headlight range control”).

–  Confirm entry with Q key.

1)  The part number and version number can deviate from the number indicated here on the display, e.g. due to part number amendment.
–  Press key.

If the following display appears:
–  Press the HELP key to print out a list of possible fault causes.
–  After rectifying faults, enter address word 55 for headlight range control again and confirm with Q key.
