On the pressurized components of the air conditioning system,
no welding should ever be performed, either tin welding or brass welding.
This is also valid for welding works on the vehicle, when there is
the risk of air conditioning system components being heated. Regarding
a paint repair, no individual object temperatures up to 80°C should
occur in the oven or in a pre-heating zone, as due to this heating
there is a strong elevation in the pressure of the installation, which
may even explode. |
Note A drainage of the refrigerant circuit is also necessary when
welding is to performed close to the refrigerant hoses. Invisible
ultraviolet radiations are released during welding, which penetrate
the refrigerant hoses and decompose it. |
