Check the belt strap
Check the belt strap
–  Completely remove the belt from the automatic retractor or from the regulating tab of the subabdominal belt.
–  Check the belt strap for dirt and, if necessary, wash with a neutral soap solution.
l  If one of the following damages (1 and 2) is detected in a crashed vehicle - Completely replace the seat belt with the respective buckle.
   
l  If a damage is detected in a crashed vehicle, like on points 1, 2, 3, just replace the damaged seat belt.

1 - Broken, torn or worn belt strap.

2 - Torn threads on the belt edge.
3 - Burn marks caused by cigarettes or similar items.
