–  Remove the front door lining → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
   
–  Remove the latch cylinder → Chapter.

–  Remove the clip -1- from the door handle.
–  Remove the plugs -1-.
–  Lower the door window until the door window fastening screws -2-are accessible.
  Note
If it is not possible to execute this work step due to a damage in the power window drive mechanism, it is possible to remove the motor fastening screws to move the window downwards.
–  Untighten the screws -2- and separate the jaws.

–  Move the door window upwards and fasten (for example, with adhesive tape).

–  Disconnect the connectors -arrows-.
–  Remove the screws -2-.

Tightening torque: 20 Nm
–  Remove the screws -arrows-. Pull the door subframe upwards, raise it and remove it from the door hinge side.
–  Move the subframe and disconnect the connectors from the door locking motor.

–  Remove the clips from the electric harnesses on the back side of the subframe.

–  Remove the clips -1- with a punch.
–  Remove the bellows -1- from the cable -2- and the bellows -6- from the locking rod-5- with the help of a screwdriver.
–  With the help of a screwdriver -3-, raise the door lock -4- with the support -7- from the subframe.
  Note
The support does not belong to the door lock set -4-. The door lock is fitted to the support -7- and fastened with a rivet.

–  Disengage the locking rod -1--arrow-.
–  Disengage the cable -2-.
