–  Before installing, apply Lubricating Putty -G 050 142 A2- on the rod head, region -A-. Refer to the → Chemicals Manual
  Note
The installation of the Brake pedal switch -F47- must be carried out with the brake pedal in rest position. The brake pedal should not be pressed until finishing the procedure.

–  Inset the Brake pedal switch -F47 - in its respective housing and press it slightly against the brake pedal -arrow 1- and fasten by turning it (45°) to the right -arrow 2-.
–  Insert the Brake pedal switch -F47- connector.
–  Check the operation of the Brake pedal switch -F47- with the Diagnosis, Measurement and Information System -VAS 5051A /52-.
–  Depress the brake pedal and chech whether the brake light (rear of vehicle) lights.
–  Dismount baffle in feet region → Heating, air Conditioning; Rep. Gr.80.
–  Mount the driver's side lining → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70.
