Checking sequence
Checking sequence
–  Disconnect injection valve connections.
–  Loosen the fuel distributor fastening screws.
–  Remove vacuum hose from fuel pressure regulator.
–  Remove fuel distributor with intake injector valves of the manifold (lower part), and support them.
–  Turn the ignition on.
–  Activate the actuator element diagnosis and activate the Cylinder 1 injector -N30-: → Troubleshooting.
–  Then, check injection valves for tightness with the Fuel pump (pre-supply pump) -G6- running. Any leak of more than 2 drops/min may not occur.
If the fuel loss is greater:
–  Turn the ignition off.
–  Replace the defective injection valve.
Install in reverse removal order. Please note the following:
t  Sealing rings in all injector valves must be replaced and slightly lubricated with clean engine oil before installation.
t  The injection valves shall be installed vertically on the fuel distributor and fastened with clips.
t  Position fuel distributor with locked injection valves in the intake manifold (lower part), and press uniformly.
