| Before installation jobs, check safety measures → Chapter. |

| First, check if vehicle has code radio, if so consult anti-theft code. |

| With ignition off, disconnect ground cable from battery. |
| –
| Open filling nozzle cover and loosen container cover. |
| –
| Drain fuel container and clean surroundings of filling nozzle. |
| –
| Remove fuel pump cover. |
| –
| Disconnect 4-pole connector from pump flange. |
| –
| Remove right rear wheel. |
| –
| Loosen activated charcoal filter. |
| –
| Loosen supply nozzle from body. |
| –
| Loosen all rear exhaust system supports from body. Exhaust system must be fastened with metallic wire to the body, a bit lowered. |
WARNING | Fuel supply hose is under pressure! Before loosening hose junctions, place a cloth around them. Next, eliminate pressure removing hose carefully. |
