Replace the liquid/collection tank and the butterfly (throttle) |
The collection or liquid tanks need not be replaced in the following cases: |

| After an accident in which the collection or liquid tanks have suffered no damage. |
t
| When the repair is carried out within the normal repair time, without humidity absorption, and the vehicle is less than 5 years old. |
Replace the collection/liquid tank in the following cases: |
t
| When the refrigerant gas loop is open and the vehicle is more than 5 years old. |
t
| The refrigerant gas loop has been open for an undetermined period of time (leak). |
t
| Repair work has lasted longer than the normal time and humidity has been absorbed. |
t
| As a rule, replace the collection or liquid tank after venting (cleaning) the refrigerant gas loop, and keep it closed for as long as possible to minimize humidity absorption. |
t
| The collection/liquid tank is damaged (accident). |
The current liquid tanks (dryer) are assembled on the condenser and are equipped with a filter. Refer to the specific repair manual for each vehicle to replace the dryer filter → Heating, air conditioning; Rep. Gr.87 |
